Our Testimony is extremely important.  Sometimes our testimony is the only thing we leave behind.  In other words, our testimony may amount to the total legacy of our lives. 

The Bible tells us about men who left great testimonies:

Acts 13:22 (K.J.V.) And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will. 

Hebrews 11:5 (K.J.V.) By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. 

Not only may it be all you leave behind, but it is one of the key's to our overcoming the enemy.  The Bible tells us.

Revelation 12:11 (K.J.V.) And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
